Preparing for Your Acupuncture Session
Before your acupuncture session, it helps to prepare yourself. It’s best to wear loose, comfortable clothing and avoid eating a heavy meal or drinking alcohol for at least two hours before your appointment.
It is also important to let us know about any medications or supplements you are taking, as well as any medical conditions you have. This will help us to tailor your treatment to your specific needs.
What to Expect During Your Acupuncture Session
During your acupuncture session, you will lie down on a comfortable table while Dr. Miche inserts thin needles into specific points on your body. The needles are typically left in place for 20-30 minutes while you relax. Some people may feel a slight tingling or dull ache at the site of the needle insertion, and this is generally not painful.
After your session, you may feel relaxed and energized. It’s a good idea to drink plenty of water after a treatment.
